Dear brothers and sisters,

 

This morning, our dear friend, BRIAN SWATEK, suffered a serious stroke. His brother, TIM, found him. Paramedics rushed him to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.  Within a half hour, surgeons went in and removed two blood clots from his brain. His sister called me, and I went to the hospital and just returned home.

1) Brian did wake up.  He was able to communicate in sign-language to questions from the doctors and nurses.  However, his communication is limited to brief answers.  He does not know yet that he suffered a stroke.

2 There are absolutely NO visitors allowed except his family. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONTACT HIM BY PHONE, TEXT, EMAIL, ETC. NO!

3 I gave Brian the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick..

5 Brian does have serious damage on the left side of his body.  He will face a long rehabilitation.

6 I will keep people informed about his health condition.

7 PRAY FOR BRIAN SWATEK.   PRAY HIS FAMILY.  PRAY!!!!!
